I started this week off discussing some products that you could use to help creating more effective neural networks in your brain a lot easier, namely NeuroProgrammer. Then I discussed how your habits and routines can define your world, sometimes in a bad or ineffective way. I also showed why it can be so difficult to break a routine or pattern. This is because you have created structures in your mind and body that will resist change. That doesn't have to be the end of the world, however. You can use some of the easier techniques I described like using NeuroProgrammer or hypnosis to break ineffective patterns, and create new, more empowering options. Or if you lack the money, but have plenty of motivation, you could try practicing meditation, which I recommend anyway because it has so many good benefits. If you want some quick motivation help than here: what you focus on expands, so keep your eye on the prize. For some reason, if you make the outcome of your goal fixed in your mind, than the price you have to pay doesn't seem so expensive anymore. Just focus on what you want, not what you have to do to get it. Remind yourself everyday of why it is you are doing what you are doing and then getting there becomes easy. It's like instant motivation: Keep your eye on the prize! Write it down, or make a collage, whatever you have to do to remind yourself of what it is that you want and why it is you are doing what you are doing. But try to start practicing, if only for ten minutes a day. That would be better than nothing, and everyone can afford ten minutes.
