Conditioning

Do you remember a guy named Ivan Pavlov and that experiment he conducted with the dogs? Every day when he brought out their food, he would ring a bell. Then one day, all he did was ring the bell with no food and the dogs started salivating anyway. What was going on here? He had conditioned the dogs brains into associating food with something totally unrelated to food, the bell, and this association would trigger thier hunger. The key that I want to reinforce here is that something changed in the dogs brains. Why not use this same principal to improve your own mind? You become what you think about consistently. In fact your consistent thoughts will change the structure of your brain. Why not create structures that serve you and are more successful? Once you create a structure, any behavior associated with it will be automated and effortless.
